Day 3: Gold Rush Trail Sled Dog Mail Run

Day 3 of the Gold Rush Trail Sled Dog Mail Run is stage out of Barkerville and Wells. Mushers complete the third leg of their journey on a 20 km loop out of Barkerville. Dog mushers, skijorers, skiers, runners, kicksledders, bicycles, snowshoers or any other mode of transportation are invited to participate in the Barkerville Dash, which departs from the Jack O’ Clubs parking lot 12:00 noon. Cheer all the participants on as they arrive at finish line in front of Post Office on Barkerville’s Main Street between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. The event wraps up with drinks and snacks at the Jack O’ Clubs Restaurant and the Wells Winter Carnival.
