PAL/CORE Training

Want to be licensed to own a firearm and use it for hunting? Want to learn more about gun safety and ethical hunting practices? The Wells-Barkerville Community Forest is pleased to offer a local opportunity to complete the training required for your PAL and FWID licenses.
Day 1: Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) – the mandatory training required to apply for your unrestricted Possession and Acquisition License (PAL). Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
Day 2: Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) Course – the mandatory training required to apply for your BC Fish & Wildlife ID (FWID – required for hunting license). Participants must be 10 years of age or older
Participants who have previously completed their CFSC may join for the second day only if they provide a copy of their CFSC Course Report (the PAL license alone is not sufficient)
The course is limited to a maximum enrollment of 8 participants. Cost per participants is $150 for both courses.
