Paper Making Workshop

Paper Making with MULCH Collective!
Friday – May 31, 2024 || 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM || fair weather = outside at the Nest, foul weather in the Second Floor Studios (Wells-Barkerville School second floor).

Are you swimming in a sea of documents? Is your wastepaper basket overflowing with balled up notes from your screenplay that just isn’t working? Do those junk mail flyers keep piling up before you get to use them? Join members of MULCH Collective down the rabbit hole of creating homemade paper from all that recycling, scraps and plant materials laying around. Participants will learn the basics of paper making, from building deckles to pulling sheets from the pulp. The workshop will also include an exploration into how local and invasive plant species can be used in the process of paper making.
