Season Opening Party with Neon Pigeons

Join us for our annual tradition of opening the Wells, Barkerville and Bowron Summer Season with a party at the Wells Hotel! This year, we’re not only gathering to reconnect with our colleagues and neighbours, we’re also gathering to remember and toast our dearly departed friend, Peter Corbett, following his celebration of life at the St. George Studio earlier in the afternoon.
We’ll kick off the evening at 8pm with a toast to Peter, followed by an excellent evening of music by Neon Pigeons.
Dinner available 4pm – 8pm. Sorry no patrons under the age of 19 years permitted after the end of the dinner service (as per our liquor licence rules)
Cover by donation. 15% off meals for culture and hospitality workers.

Neon Pigeons is a three-piece band blending groove-driven rock, harmony-rich singer-songwriter arrangements, and atmospheric indie folk influences.
Built around a stripped-down lineup of drums, guitar, and bass, the band moves between vibey original songs with deep rhythmic pockets and more intimate, harmony-focused material featuring layered two-part vocals.
Their sound draws inspiration from artists like Father John Misty, Fleet Foxes, and Daniel Romano, balancing warm analog textures, dynamic grooves, and thoughtful songwriting with a raw live energy.
Hailing from Williams Lake, Neon Pigeons is Kevin Easthope, Rowan Dolighan, and Connor Dolighan
