Submission Deadline for the Wells-Barkerville Community Forest Logo

February 28, 2019

The Wells Barkerville Community Forest (WBCF) is looking for a logo that will be used for all digital and print material.

Guidelines
• The logo MUST be original work of the submitter.
• The logo should be able to be rendered in B&W and Full Colour.
• The logo may be created using pencils, crayons, markers, and paint, but no 3D materials such as glitter or stickers. Also, the logo may be made with a computer drawing program, but of course all images must be original.
• The logo should be simple and abstract, not be complicated or confusing, and all elements must be discernible when reproduced in smaller sizes.
• The logo submitted in this form must be in a file size no larger than 100MB.
• You can submit up to 5 files in this form. But all files must be of the same logo.
(Ex: one file in B&W and one in Full Colour)
• All file types are accepted, but the winning logo design must be able to be reformatted to suite the needs of the WBCF.

Submissions open: January 21, 2019
Submissions close: February 28, 2019
Winner Announced: March 18, 2019
Participation: The competition is open to the Wells, Barkerville, Bowron Lake, and Troll
Judging: A committee that is comprised of: The WBCF Board and 2 Representatives from the District of Wells Council

Copyright Assignment: The Wells Barkerville Community Forest will acquire ownership of the winning logo by assignment of copyright, and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation all other rights related to the design (Official Entry Form Required). By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that created the logo and is the rightful owner. The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.

Prize: One winner will receive $500
