Here’s a space for you to try out those untouched or well loved works in a relaxed environment. DESCRIPTION:Island Mountain Arts is excited to announce our latest upcoming workshop: Hip-Hop Dance Classes with Tyler Burnson! This Fall\, join us for some dance-y fitness fun! This class serves as an introduction to Hip Hop Dance Styles – Get moving and have fun with us through this fall! ⁠\n⁠\nABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:⁠\nTyler started dance at Freestyle Dance Centre in Abbotsford at the age of 13 in breakdancing and hip hop. The next year\, after his first hip hop solo\, he started placing gold at every competition! He officially “retired” from competition after 4 years\, undefeated as a solo performer. He taught for 2 years at Freestyle and then moved on to Xtreme Talent in Abbotsford (1 year) and Project dance in Chilliwack (4 years). During those years\, Tyler attended many different conventions in Vancouver and would also fly down to LA yearly and take classes from choreographers who worked with people like Britney Spears\, Janet Jackson\, Madonna\, Justin Timberlake and more! ⁠\n⁠\nFREE\, YOUTH TRY-IT-OUT SESSIONS:\nMonday\, August 29th\n3:45 – 4:45PM (ages 6-11)\n5:00 – 6:00PM (ages 12-17)\n\nYouth Classes take place bi-weekly from 3:45 – 4:45PM for youth aged 6-11\, and from 5:00 – 6:00PM for youth aged 12-17. ⁠\n⁠\nHere’s the complete schedule:⁠\nMon\, September 12 ⁠\nMon\, september 26⁠\nTues\, October 11⁠\nMon\, October 24⁠\nMon\, November 7⁠\nMon\, November 21⁠\nMon\, December 5⁠\nMon\, December 19⁠\n⁠\nWe can’t wait to get moving with Tyler!
