DESCRIPTION:The Wells International Gourmet Ski has been the main fundraiser for WATS for over 10 years. Participants get to experience a few of the things that make Wells great: the skiing\, the company\, the gorgeous natural setting\, and the delicious food produced in our humble kitchens! \nSki as much or as little as you would like\, eat fantastic International cuisine at four food stations along the way\, and join us for hot drinks and desserts at the finale. Get dressed up in your most ridiculous costumes for a chance to win great prizes! Stay in Wells for the evening and join us at the Sunset Theatre for our popular Winter Film Fest. \nItinerary for The Wells International Gourmet Ski: FEBRUARY 23\, 2019  \nCheck-in and sign waiver\nWhere: The Frog on the Bog (new location on the west side of the Bear’s Paw\, Hwy 26\, Wells)\nWhen: 10 am until 12 noon\nParking: BGM (Barkerville Gold Mines) parking lot across from the Bear’s Paw; not behind the Jack o’ Clubs \nSki and eat (and laugh)\nWhere: Start skiing from behind the Bear’s Paw\nWhen: Start skiing anytime between 11 am and 12 noon; food stations close at 3 pm\nHow: Ski the trails in any order or direction; visit the food stations in any order; visit up to four “Booty Basket” locations to see some new trail development and to get extra treats! \nDesserts and Finale\nWhere: The Jack O’ Clubs pub\nWhen: Pub will be open for drinks starting at 3 pm; desserts will be ready to sample starting at 3 pm; prize give-away starts at around 3:30 pm; group photo in front of the Jack O’Clubs at around 4 pm \nDinner\nEat in the Jack O’ Clubs Restaurant or in The Pooley Street Cafe at the Wells Hotel \nWinter Film Festival\nJoin us for a viewing of Dave’s Faves – the best of the films compiled from over 10 years of film festivals!\nWhere: The Sunset Theatre\nWhen: 7 pm

Although it began in 2005 as a way to celebrate and promote Telemark skiing\, it has turned into a BIG party that celebrates EVERYONE’S love for winter sports on the ski hill! \nThroughout the day\, our local telemark skiers will have Demo Gear to borrow and Lessons on ‘how to’ telemark. Watch them as they demonstrate this unique style of skiing. THEN\, with ticket in hand\, the evening fun begins in the lodge. A delicious buffet dinner will be served\, AMAZING Draw Prizes will be handed out\, everyone will receive their annual Tele-fest T-Shirt AND all of this will be happening to the incredible sounds of the ROADBLOCK!!!! \nJoin the fun\, join the party and Celebrate The Season!
