DESCRIPTION:Island Mountain Arts is excited to announce our latest upcoming workshop: Hip-Hop Dance Classes with Tyler Burnson! This Fall\, join us for some dance-y fitness fun! This class serves as an introduction to Hip Hop Dance Styles – Get moving and have fun with us through this fall! ⁠\n⁠\nABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:⁠\nTyler started dance at Freestyle Dance Centre in Abbotsford at the age of 13 in breakdancing and hip hop. The next year\, after his first hip hop solo\, he started placing gold at every competition! He officially “retired” from competition after 4 years\, undefeated as a solo performer. He taught for 2 years at Freestyle and then moved on to Xtreme Talent in Abbotsford (1 year) and Project dance in Chilliwack (4 years). SUMMARY:Wells Volunteer Fire Brigade Practice
DESCRIPTION:Exterior Fire Protection is provided by the Wells Volunteer Fire Brigade.  The WVFB will respond to any fire calls in the Wells Fire District. \nThe WVFB is the only fire service in the area and is 100% dependent on volunteers.  Everyone is welcome and no one is asked to do more than they are comfortable with. \nPractices are held every Wednesday from 7pm-9pm at the fire hall (across from the schoolyard). DESCRIPTION:There’s nothing more heartwarming at this time of year than a handwritten card! This is your opportunity to take your handwritten holiday greetings to the next level by including an imprint of your very own thumb (which some might say is an integral part of one’s handwriting!)!\n\nThere are two opportunities to engage with this workshop!\nYouth Ages 5 – 14 from 9:00 Am – 12:00 noon: We’ll meet up in the morning at the IMA Art Gallery for some card-making\, with pick up at noon from the Gallery!\nAdvance Registration is required. Once you’ve registered here\, we’ll send along a form to collect information about the young person in your life who will be joining us!\nAll Ages from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Drop in and stoke those festive feelings! Advance registration is appreciated so we can make sure we have adequate materials! We’ll have snacks and beverages by donation!
