DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to celebrate a fantastic visitor season and thank all the workers who’ve made it possible by closing down Pooley Street in front of the Hotel and setting up for a community block party to coincide with Barkerville Historic Town & Park’s last operating day of the season. \nIsland Mountain Arts\, Sunset Theatre\, Morsels Moveable Feast\, and The Wells Hotel will be coming up with some creative contributions to the event\, and we hope you might too! Got some yard games you could bring? A propane fire pit? Want to play a little music or host and activity? Please do! Send me or the Hotel a message if you’ve got something you’d like to contribute. \nThis is an all-ages event\, and all are welcome. Open alcohol is not permitted in the street or park but the Wells Hotel and Sunset Theatre bars will be open for service in their licensed areas

DESCRIPTION:Joseph Shea is a multi-instrumental singer and writer of songs. As a member of the Prince George collective The Ebbs (https://theebbs.bandcamp.com) and the Alberta/BC collaboration Trundled (https://trundledmusic.bandcamp.com)\, he’s played music from coast to coast\, and from cave bottoms to mountain tops. \nWith songs grounded in traditional Irish/Americana structures\, Joseph works in themes of love\, loss\, and life. As a solo performer with just a guitar and a piano\, his sound is a product of simply being a bit of a shoe-gazing Canadian kid in the 90s (think Wilco\, Radiohead\, Jeff Buckley\, Josh Ritter\, and Brandi Carlile)
