DESCRIPTION:Art practices based in grass roots community building\, access creation and sustainability for under-represented artists. w/ Rae Spoon.\nTime: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM\nLocation: IMA Public Gallery – The Island Mountain Arts Public Gallery is partially accessible\, as the venue includes a level entrance or ramp access to enter but lacks an accessible washroom. \nThis workshop for under-represented* artists from any medium who want to talk about: \n\nCreating sustainable\, connection-focused art practices.\nExpanding their artistic outreach to new cities\, countries and/or communities.\nSetting goals and creating work while collaborating with and supporting other under-represented artists.\nFostering supportive artistic relationships and arts scenes.\nFunding art projects from diverse sources.\n\nRae will share some of their artistic history/dreams for the future and lead a generative discussion that highlights information the participants are most interested in.\nFor more details and to register\, visit
