SUMMARY:Taste of Middle Earth: a Tolkien-Inspired Feast
DESCRIPTION:Take a culinary journey to Middle Earth with a six-course brunch menu inspired by Tolkien\, matched with a three-part drink pairing by host Peter Corbett (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). Our host will provide a small reading of a Tolkien passage with each meal and tell the story of the Studio’s connection to Tolkien himself. Middle-Earth attire is encouraged!\nThis mid-day feast event at the St. George Studio in Wells is our final installment of the Spring Cariboo Culinary Collaboration series\, where we traveled the Cariboo to collaborate with other small business to provided unique food and drink experiences in new venues. \nThe Menu:\nComing soon! Expect flavours of the Middle-Earth\, including mushrooms\, lamb\, fish\, root vegetables\, potatoes\, pastries\, honey\, apples\, berries\, and more. \n*IMPORTANT* this is a set menu event. Substitutions and alternatives to the food menu will not be available. \nWhen: Sunday\, May 25th starting at 11:00 am\nWhere: The St. George Studio\, 2303 Bowman Cres\, Wells\, BC\nWhat’s Included: Six food courses with drink pairings\nThe Price: $60 + GST per person \nTickets are limited and available for purchase online or at the Wells Hotel. \nDue to the advanced planning required to prepare for the event\, tickets may not be available at the door.
